Dua-e-Ahad (Pledge of Allegiance)
In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, I turn to You, repose trust in You, and seek Your pleasure. I beseech You by Your munificence to send blessings upon Muhammad and the family of Muhammad. In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful.
O Allah, Master of the Kingdom, You give the Kingdom to whom You will and take the Kingdom from whom You will. You exalt whom You will and abase whom You will. In Your hand is all goodness. Surely, You have power over everything.
O Allah, I turn to You in virtue of the Covenant and the Compact You have taken upon Yourself, and in virtue of the Covenant and the Compact made by Your Prophet and Your Messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him and his family). O Allah, be, for Your representative, the Hujjat (proof), son of Al-Hasan. Your blessings be on him and his forefathers, in this hour and in every hour. A guardian, a protector, a leader, a helper, a proof, and an eye. Until You make him live on the earth in obedience (to You), and cause him to live in it for a long time.
Dua-e-Ahad is a powerful expression of allegiance and devotion to the awaited Imam Mahdi. Reciting it reflects the believer’s commitment to stand by the principles of justice and righteousness as embodied by the Ahlul Bayt. It is a supplication that encapsulates the hope for a future guided by divine justice and the leadership of the Imam of our time.
